FlashDim - Dim your flashlight
The introduction of Android 13 brought with it an innovative capability to adjust the flashlight's brightness to multiple levels. Leveraging this feature, a new app has been developed to exploit this functionality fully. This app offers users the ability to gradually dim the flashlight, providing shortcut buttons for instantly accessing preset brightness levels. Additionally, it includes an SOS flash button for emergencies and a Morse code flash mode for coded communication. For rhythmic lighting, there's an Interval / BPM mode. Accessibility is enhanced with a quick settings tile for swift app engagement and a novel feature allowing users to toggle the flashlight by pressing both volume buttons simultaneously. Prioritizing user privacy and experience, the app operates offline without ads and does not require an internet connection. Embracing aesthetic considerations, it implements modern Material You (M3) design principles, with app colors that dynamically adapt to the device's system palette.
